How wonderful to spend Christmas Day here at home! Usually we're with John's family for Christmas. This year the family meets on Boxing Day. Corelli and Britten play in the background, and John's playing with the toys I got him.
I was overwhelmed with how beautiful and extravagant was the Tarot card chest that he made me. It's Brazilian ebony and rosewood with cardinal wood accents. It mostly looks like a pagoda with stairs that ascent. I'll post a picture shortly.
John's baking bread and brunch things today to take tomorrow. That leaves me to listen and to catch up with my writing.
