John and I hopped on the first passenger train to run between Cedar Rapids and Iowa City last weekend in over fifty years. It was a demonstration run to show folks what passenger service would be like. Slow it was - because lots of maintenance work needs to be done to provide decent service. We had a blast, and we're hoping this helps generate some buzz.
