Not literally, unfortunately, but this is fun!
John was off doing good deeds yesterday helping out an alternative arts venue in the area. On his way back he popped his head in a new store in the area - and found a pile of old Popular Mechanics magazines from the 30's, 40's, and 50's. He plopped down his money and he's been devouring them ever since.
They're in excellent condition - and just a hoot to read. I especially like the ads - for everything from Charles Atlas (remember 'dynamic tension'?) to home welding setups and home study courses for radio and TV repair (remember when folks actually had things repaired?).
